The module fetches the current wikimedia picture of the day and sets it as a background for your portal after resizing the image to you current resolution.

The module does not show the current image, because this will be set as a background for the portal, which you may not see in this screenshot. beside the current image the images from the day before and after are shown and you mya click on them to select it for your background. In this case the background image will be refetched and you may scroll through all available pictures.

The shown title is the title of the currently used image and you may click on it to get to the wikimedia page about the image to see details about license, author and rating etc.

Requirements

• Curl extension

• DateTime extension

• Imagemagick convert bianry

• Imagemagick identify binary
